This Kayak Rental Agreement and Release of Liability (“Agreement”) is entered into between Allbee Acres (“Owner”) and the undersigned renter (“Renter”).

Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Rental Eligibility: Must be **18 years or older** to rent. Individuals **13 years or older** may operate a kayak alone. Anyone under **12 years** must ride with an adult.
2. Use Location: Kayaks may be used only on lakes and rivers in Michigan.
3. Rental Period & Rates: Each kayak is **$25 per 4-hour rental period**. Rentals may begin no earlier than **8:00 AM** and must be returned no later than **8:00 PM**. Late returns are subject to a **$10 per hour** fee starting on the hour after the scheduled return time.
4. Night Use Prohibited: No night paddling is allowed.
5. Life Jackets: Must be worn at all times while using the kayak in accordance with Michigan safety standards. Life jackets and paddles are provided in limited sizes. The renter must choose the correct size based on standard sizing.
6. Guest Requirement: Renter must be a current guest of Allbee Acres during the rental period.
7. Deposits: Covered under the standard Allbee Acres deposit policy.
8. No Refunds: No refunds will be issued due to weather or any other reason.
9. Transport: Renter is responsible for transporting the kayak to and from their desired location.
10. Responsibility for Equipment*: Renter is responsible for any lost or damaged kayaks, life jackets, or paddles and agrees to pay in full at the time of the incident for replacement of the same or comparable items.
11. Pick-Up & Return: Kayaks are available in the designated area for self-service pick-up. Items must be returned in the same condition and to the same location as received.

Release of Liability

I, the undersigned, acknowledge that kayaking involves inherent risks, including but not limited to drowning, injury from collisions, capsizing, and exposure to weather conditions. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of the rented kayak and related equipment.

I hereby release and hold harmless Allbee Acres, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, or expenses arising out of my participation in kayaking, including those caused by negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
